The mission of the Drug Free Montgomery County Coalition is to serve as a vehicle for bringing countywide effort to address alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) issues using multiple strategies across multiple sectors. This county-wide effortaims to reduce the use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other illicit substancs in the community for both youth and adults. The coalition provides support for organizations using evidence-based programs that help modify unhealthy behaviors, advocate for policies that support access to teatment for substance abuse dsiorders, and form relationships in the community that foster the reduction of substance abuse issues.
