IHCDA has funding for residential wheelchair/accessibility ramps? If you are part of an individual household in need of a wheelchair/accessibility ramp.
Ramp Up is IHCDA’s program to provide grants to non-profit organizations to install exterior ramps to homes occupied by people in need of improving accessibility in their home. Ramps increase safety, reduce the risk of falling, and maintains a person's independence by allowing them to age-in-place in their home.
Our most common partner organizations include local Habitat for Humanity chapters and Area Agencies on Aging, but we are open to all kinds of non-profit organizations and local government agencies. Ideal applicants will have an established organizational mission to serve the housing needs of persons with disabilities and/or to rehabilitate homes for low-income homeowners.
